14th overall in the 2016 European Junior Cup gave Alex Murley a taste of what life as a professional motorcycle racer could be like.

Combining his studies with competing at one of the highest levels of motorcycle road racing for his age group, Alex scored points on many occasions, the highlight being 10th at Magny-Cours in France.

Strong qualifying performances including a best of 8th at his home race at Donington Park led to strong race finishes and enabled the British teenager to end his maiden campaign abroad with 24 points to his name, several more than many of his more experienced rivals.

For 2017 Murley will stay within the WorldSBK Paddock where he will line up in the new look Supersport 300cc World Championship.
