Alex Murley // Biography
18 year old Alex Murley began 2017 with a national title (UK Kawasaki Junior Cup 2015), and an impressive debut European season last year under his belt. Racing with experienced Hungarian squad, Team Toth Yamaha, Alex was a regular top ten finisher on his way to 13th overall in the World Championship. He also had the accolade of being the only British rider to score world championship points in the series.
Remaining within the prestigious WorldSBK Paddock in the new look Supersport 300cc World Championship is part of a long term plan that it’s hoped will springboard Alex into top level motorcycle racing in the coming years.
Murley began riding a GRC 4.2 Minimoto when he was just 12 years of age and in just a few short years has developed into one of the most promising talents to emerge from the UK in recent years.
In addition to racing on the circuits of the world, Alex studies Broadcast and Creative Media Design.
An adrenaline junkie who’s addicted to speed, Alex’s favourite rider is 3 time British Champion Leon Camier.
2018 sees him remain in the all new Supersport 300 World Championship with a team that will be announced at the EICMA motorcycle expo in Milan in November.
